Calc Fluor (Calcarea Fluorica) is traditionally linked with the maintenance and strengthening of connective tissue throughout the body, such as tendons, ligaments, cartilage and elastin, and also structures that require both firmness and flexibility.
Rather than acting in isolation, it is described in traditional tissue salt literature as preserving the contractile power of elastic tissue, and also as combining with albumin in the formation of that very elasticity.

The elasticity of blood vessel walls is another area of therapeutic focus, and also where veins may appear enlarged or under strain.
Joints
