Holistic Therapist & Shop Support - Maternity Cover (with a view to being permanent)

Please note this role is for one person ideally, however if you would like to apply for either the Holistic Therapy Role or The Shop Support role we will consider splitting the job between two people.

We are looking for a very special person to join our team. The ideal candidate will work in our shop and also offering holistic treatments in our clinic, thus will be an integral team member.

We are looking for someone who shares our values, loves working with natural products, loves giving treatments to clients and who is truly focused on the customer and their experience.

The shop role involves serving customers and offering the best service possible. In addition general shop duties will also include customer service online, on the phone and on email. Plus deliveries, administration, merchandising and maintaining a clean and tidy shopping environment.

The treatments we’d be looking for you to be trained in are massage, reflexology and holistic facials. Other treatments are beneficial. If not all of these we will still consider you if you’re the right person for the role. The role offers an excellent opportuntity for an exceptional therapist to receive training in some leading natural and organic brands.

Naturally you'll enjoy giving, making a difference to the customers day, and investing time and interest in the customers health.

This is a position that we’d like to right person to grow with the business. We’ll offer training in treatments with some of the brands we stock. We’re a small clinic and we value quality of treatments and customer care over quantity.

Ideal Requirements

• To provide shop support for general shop duties such as cleaning, ordering, unpacking and entering stock deliveries.
• Exceptional customer service skills with interest and knowledge of natural health and wellbeing with a passion to learn.
• Qualifications in holistic therapies. Further qualifications in beauty are beneficial.
• To provide excellent holistic health treatments and natural beauty facials within the clinic.
• To educate customers about the most suitable products for their individual requirements.
• Excellent therapist, with experience working with premium brands.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, good organisational skills.
• Passionate about natural approaches to health, beauty and lifestyle.
• Customer friendly, willing to go the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble.
• An excellent listener and communicator.
• Computer literate with responsibilities of booking in clients, processing internet orders, responding to emails and social media messages whilst on the shop floor. The ability of picking up working with new software is essential.
• A keen interest to be part of a team with a genuine interest in the growth and development of the business.

Days: 3-5 days per week

Pay: Base rate plus commission on treatments. Plus staff incentives and team performance bonus. Further details will be provided to shortlisted applicants.
