This test provides a unique and comprehensive assessment of nutritional status, which is the same as the Metabolomix Plus with added extras. The addition of finger prick blood sample which can be easily done at home together with the urine sample, provides additional insight into Essential and Metabolic Fatty Acids and a Nutrient and Toxic Elements Clearance Profile.
A fully detailed analysis is provided of individual vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and amino acids status, markers for gastrointestinal function, oxidative stress, essential fats status and the nutrient and toxic elements clearance. Using a simple at home urine sample together with the finger prick test, allows a simple way to identify nutritional needs and create a bespoke and actionable plan together with your Nutritional Therapist. Note that this test is customisable and the items listed with the asterisk are add on elements that have been included in the price of this test but can be left omitted if not required. There are additional genetic add ons that can also be included with this test.
In accordance with professional code of conduct, a full Initial Nutrition Consultation is required before running this test with a member of our Nutritional Therapy team. The practitioner can then assess your needs and provide guidance on a Nutrition Plan which may include recommendations for Functional Nutrition Tests if these are deemed useful to influence the guidance. A full test interpretation is then provided during a Follow Up Nutrition Consultation with recommendations put in place taking into account your test results alongside your clinical presentation and health goals.
Note that the sample report comprises of the full test complete with genetic add ons. Pages 1-14 would be included in the cost of this test with pages 15 onwards for the Genomics sections would be an additional cost.
