Bio Health Celery Seed 450mg (60 Capsules) Celery seed is one of the lesser-known herbs in the West. However, it has been used for thousands of years in other parts of the world for a variety of reasons such as for bone and joint health, a digestive aid and liver cleanse. People also commonly take it to help with gout as it reduces uric acid in the body.

HABITAT AND CULTIVATION
A marshland plant that grows best in damp places, Celery is native to Britain amongst other countries and is often found along the English and Welsh coasts. Grown throughout temperate regions of the world as a vegetable, the cultivated variety is less fragrant than in its wild state. The plant is harvested from June to October.

CONSTITUENTS
Volatile oil (1.5-3%) – limonene (60-70%), B-selinene; coumarins; furanocoumarins – bergapten; flavonoids-apiin.

CAUTIONS
Avoid in kidney disorders and pregnancy.
