Well known for their use in brewing, hops are a traditional crop from Bavaria in Germany which have been shown to contain potent phytoestrogens, especially 8-prenylnaringenin (8-PN). The hops extract used in Menopause Complex is a standardised source which has been well-studied. These plant-based compounds can help with the tell-tale signs associated with the menopause, such as hot flushes, sweating, restlessness, and irritability.

Lemon balm contributes to relaxation and supports sleep, whilst the addition of saffron contributes to emotional balance and improved libido.
