This test can provide an insight over a full female cycle to assess oestrogen and progesterone fluctuations throughout the cycle. This ‘mapping’ test provides a clear insight into the cycle so any fluctuations from the normal pattern can be easily identified. This provides a useful tool in situations of hormonal imbalances, fertility issues, abnormal cycles such as no menses, hormone related migraines, mid cycle spotting and PCOS.

This test is often combined with the DUTCH complete hormone panel for a full clinical picture and combining the two provides a more cost effective analysis than running the two tests independently.

In accordance with professional code of conduct, a full Initial Nutrition Consultation is required before running this test with a member of our Nutritional Therapy team. The practitioner can then assess your needs and provide guidance on a Nutrition Plan which may include recommendations for Functional Nutrition Tests if these are deemed useful to influence the guidance. A full test interpretation is then provided during a Follow Up Nutrition Consultation with recommendations put in place taking into account your test results alongside your clinical presentation and health goals.
