This is not a single test but can be a bespoke range of tests discussed between yourself and your Nutritional Therapist. Genomics is a fast evolving area of Nutrition and can offer a proactive and personalized approach to health.

Variations in our genome are what make us unique and can have specific impact on our health. We offer a complete range of genomic testing in the context of both nutrition and lifestyle factors. Each report is designed with colour coded pathway diagrams so with the support of our trained practitioners, these results can tailor your specific wellness plan. The costs for these tests are varied depending on the package bundle that is required and start from £199 ranging to around £650 for a full suite of testing.

An introductory test is available as shown in the sample report below which looks at the some of the most important genetic areas and how these relate to your nutrition and health. More advanced targeted testing using a different laboratory is available in the following areas:

Genetic testing can also be done as easy optional and inexpensive add ons to the Metabolomix profiles and the Nutreval profile to look at specific markers including MTHFR, APO E, TNFA and COMT.

In accordance with professional code of conduct, a full Initial Nutrition Consultation is required before running any genetic testing with a member of our Nutritional Therapy team. The practitioner can then assess your needs and provide guidance on a Nutrition Plan which may include recommendations for Functional Nutrition Tests if these are deemed useful to influence the guidance. A full test interpretation is then provided during a Follow Up Nutrition Consultation with recommendations put in place taking into account your test results alongside your clinical presentation and health goals.
